Sure, you can go with a competent travel agency you trust. What I suggest is you can get all flights booked except UIO-MAD, or see if whichever travel agency you find is willing to book you on the QR code-share. xONEx has a generous ticketing deadline. Hopefully, IB will resolve this issue by then.
