The grouper is dusted and sautéed. House made Thousand Island. Swiss cheese. A pineapple cole slaw instead of sauerkraut. Capers.

I used to order their blackened redfish BLT, but it came off the menu when redfish became hard to come by. I can order their blackened grouper BLT off-menu, but only if Shirley is tending bar.

My other favorite is T.A.B.L.E. - Tomato (fried green), Avocado, Bacon (thick, peppered), Lettuce, Egg (over easy). Messy.

Crooked Spoon adds house made kettle chips to every sandwich order. And I usually get to finish Mrs BV’s. Lightly salted and always warm. I only upgraded to a different side once in dozens of visits.
