Basically, just asked me for
- email address I had put on application
- employment status on application
- total income as reported on application
- whether I was traveling when submitting the application (why yes, I was at the SAN airport... returning from Asia... maybe the airport IP address was suspicious?)
She also tested my mobile number by sending me a code, then submitted the application and it was immediately approved.
So the email address I had put into the waitlist form back in December was my AS email. And so this is the one now associated with this application, and it is different from the email address I use for my banks. Hopefully they will still automatically add the card to my existing BofA login. I didn't want to ask during this call to not create additional suspicion.
It's a bit odd that they changed my application status to "denied" after leaving the voicemail, but whatever...
edit: yes, the card now appears in my existing login account in the app.
Same exact thing happened to me:
