Just finished another 4-night stay here. Used a SUA to upgrade to the huntington suite; this time we ended up in the same room one floor below our last trip.
Once again we really enjoyed this property. This time we spent most of our swim time at Mankota's (main) pool, which is a much superior experience than Slyder's (which is basically a zoo).
You can't avoid children at this resort (we had 2 of our own on this trip), but everyone was much calmer and well behaved at mankota's, which is more our vibe.
Property was busy on the weekend, but never had issues getting pool chairs were we wanted to be. We specifically pick this time of the year when the kids are back in school and it was worth it. Property really cleared by Monday afternoon.
We saw a flash sale on cabanas on Monday after our swim, if that is any indication of occupancy.
Food at Mankota's was excellent, we had one of the best cubano's we've ever had for lunch there.
Service was great all around, from the bar tenders, servers, bell hops etc. Easily our favorite summer Hyatt now
