If it makes you feel any better, QR at Doha didn't even know BAEC Silver (Sapphire) were entitled to use the Business Class check-in rows (Row 3) for BA flights (which they covered). It was displayed on their information screens and I had to take a picture of it and go back to Row 3 for the clowns to actually swallow their words
Wow, that sounds just as frustrating as what I went through. It’s honestly shocking how often ground staff aren’t properly briefed on Oneworld benefits. Glad you had that photo as proof — I might have to start doing the same now
