We were looking at Atlas Antarctica cruises earlier this week - our question is how stable (how seasick would I be) in a ship that small in that area? We've sailed smaller ships (R class, Seabourn) and it's not usually a problem, but that distance and length of time in a well known "turbulent" area worries us a little. If you're not taking a small ship you're not landing on Antarctica. There are rules.
One must be willing to accept the possibility of a rocky crossing.
