The Instagram post is accurate and detailed, as is the website. It's only the cross post to Threads that got cut off, but there is a link in it to the Instagram post.
Agree it's a bit harsh, but it does have consequences.
It's a double edged sword -- on one hand the error makes it read worse than reality, so if I saw that and then showed up at SFO expecting the walk to be closed I'd be pleasantly surprised to find it open (assuming traveling at reasonable times)... On the other hand, I I *just* saw the Threads post (as I did originally until other posters linked the other content) I would --and did -- think *welp, yet another reason to avoid SFO .. do I have any reservations I can move?" (Being on the East half of the country there are maybe 4 trips a year where SFO could possibly make sense as a connection point, so it's not an airport I follow closely) And a traveler should not have to dig through multiple sources (or multiple social media sites) to get the whole story, particularly when it doesn't seem from what I saw like anything was missing.
