Flying SEA-LHR (777-300) in Club World next month. I’m traveling solo and trying to decide if it’s worth paying for a seat assignment. Normally I pick a window seat but obviously there’s not much to look at overnight. Forward mini cabin is full as are most of the window seats from rows 8-16. Is there any benefit as someone with no status when it comes to meal selection if I sit in one of the last rows? Seems like there’s no real bad seat other than proximity to potential crying babies in bassinets.
Since it is Club Suite, no point paying for seating and as you said, window seat is not a necessity on an overnighter.
