More seriously, ever since Accor has started to switch its business model to fully focus on franchising, some destinations are seeing their landscape changing drastically, including Germany and especially starting next year when Accor will sell its stakes in AccorInvest which owns a lot of properties there.

As competition is getting stronger in some capital cities, we may get used to seeing our favorite properties changing hands once they move from owned or managed by Accor to being just franchisees.
