I would very strongly advise against buying a Monos aluminum luggage. The structure of the luggage is sound, but the outer shell is extremely thin, aluminum, and is less, not more, durable than cheaper plastic luggage. These dents are far more than scuffs, and render monos luggage, downright fragile. Further, their customer service does not seem to acknowledge the problem, and responds to communications about it with the same sales talk over and over. This luggage is expensive, and absolutely not worth it. I would go for one of the other brands.

I was just reading several articles on the popular luggage brands for 2024 and Away, Beis, and Monos caught my attention. Up until now, I've had Tumi and Travelpro luggage - both of which I still like, but I'm intrigued by these relatively new brands. If you've tried them, any input on the best one? On a quick side note, I'm struck by how low Tumi is appearing on these lists. I've heard their quality has gone downhill.
