The values of the surveys have gone down significantly for us and the number of surveys that disqualify you after getting a LOT of information keeps going up. Fortunately I try to remember to take a screen shot of the survey URL and if it knocks me out after a point I don't agree with I contact them and 99% of the time they give me the credit. This past week I had 4 surveys that I finished and instead of going to the screen that tells you you were credited with X amount - it says there is an error and just stops....and in a few it says you completed the survey then never goes any further to the credit screen. As I said they have been good about giving me the credit when I send them a message.
After I send a message, they respond, then they send me a survey "How did we do?" - then they send a request to have you rate them on the BBB site (which says they are not accredited... I never do that, and it alwasy amazes me that when I do their survey, I give the customer service good marks for helping me but then blast e-rewards for being so bad - and then they want me to do a BBB rating??? I did one yesterday for the first time so I expect my account will be closed soon. Unfortunately this is the only real game in town that can help keep points/miles accounts active - so we put up with it....
I too, started making screen shots. For those met with technical issues they do manually issue credits. They stop giving credits on disqualification, but I don’t know, yet, if it is also true on quota full. In the past these still receive either full credit (being kicked out near or at completion), or a partial credit. Not any more.
I do notice mist if the penny survey are from universities, goes to tell you how unreliable those university survey results are. LOL.
Also not just weekends but on today a Fed holiday, there are very very few surveys other than the penny ones.
I do give feed back on satisfactions based on how the reps handled the requests. But I ignore their BBB requests.
Agree it is the only game in town. And we still need it, unfortunately. Though once in a long while we did have some 6 to 9pts surveys though not only they are far and few in between, most of those we saw were health / med related so most of the time we were screened out. There are also some odd phenomena- sometimes you get lucky and are able to get a string of successful surveys between 2.5 to 5pts. When that happened I would keep doing them until the streak ended. Still not figure out the pattern though.
