no, they are all top tier brands, Its similar to the Amex FHR hotels not the hotel collection. Brands for example are Ritz, Waldorf Astoria, The Kimpton, The Intercontinental, Four Seasons, Hyatt Regency, etc.
edit looking again, im seeing some in the $300 range but again they are all top name hotels.
Thanks for doing some legwork. I was pretty happy a few months ago when I could redeem 2 x IHG 40,000 POINT certificates for 2 nights at the Intercontinental Chicago---cash rate was around $180-$220.00 per night.
I wish there was a way for everyone to have access. If there were opportunities to book cheaper cheaper hotels during off-peak times, like Hyatt Regencies and Intercontinentals, this credit may be interesting for a weekend getaway.

Hyatt Regency isn’t exactly a Top Tier brand in the Hyatt family of hotels. That would be Park Hyatt or maybe even Grand Hyatt and some others.
But if they have HR-level hotels in their collection, that is actually a good thing for me.
