This looked really really good. Did it have the Szechuan mouth-numbing feeling, which btw I only discovered around 2010 because I didn’t even know by 2010 that mapo tofu is supposed to be Szechuan (sichuan) with that mouth-numbing feeling. I always had it at Cantonese restaurants from 1985 to 2010 so they just had it in a Chinese American style. Ultra sigh.
