I managed to find LGW-ALC (09.40 departure) or on the OP's itinerary for a bit more. Forgive me but it came to about £330. If it were me, I would cancel and rebook if it is within the 24 hours. However the easiest in this instance is to go to LGW - I do not find 09.40 too early. It would mean no faffing around at Barajas. It is cheaper and involves so much less shoe leather.Maybe this option is no longer available to the OP.
