Wondering if now Hyatt has implemented, or is in the process of implementing, Blackout dates. I’ve routinely checked the T&C which always showed one paragraph stating Hyatt does not have Blackout dates. It went on further to state that basically if a Standard room was available at the Standard rate it must also be made available for full point bookings (aka award stays).

However, with this most recent “patch” or “revision” (dated May 23rd, 2025) to the T&C the No Blackout Dates provision has been removed.

Along with that I found a property (Mar Monte) which is blacking out 4th of July. Yes, I can see that it has a 2 night minimum stay for this date that’s not what I’m referring to at all. If you look at July 3rd to the 6th for example you’ll see 2 Queen Beds Palmero House (which is their Standard Rooms) available on the Standard Rate and Points + Cash, but not on full points.
