I think this is the trend world-wide, to have rules around power bank storage / usage:
no power banks on Tap!?!
Power Banks are banned starting April 7, 2025
Effective 3/1/25, EVA bans the use of power banks in flight.
In-flight use & charging of powerbanks banned from 01 Apr
MH: New power bank rules from 1 Apr 2025
One key event triggering the recent rules revisions was the Air Busan fire in January:
