Hertz and Avis most certainly do offer express checkout/save-the-line service at JFK. At Avis (I'm President's Circle), I can use the mobile app to select my car in the lot and get in it and drive to the exit gate. For Hertz (President's Club), I just pick a car from Ultimate Choice and drive to the exit gate.
