LMAO - I have a few friends that I can definitely see making a similar wisecrack to which I would have a similar expression to the host in your scenario.

I do have to say that while its a lovely Champagne and pairs excellent with crab, the first half glass I had by itself as I was finishing up making the first crab appetizer, I was like like "This is a tad too sweet and light for my taste" (I am so used to heavy bodied, Pinot loaded Brut and even though it was described as a Brut, it tasted far more Extra Dry). Today the Blanc de Blancs is a 2015 Louis Roederer Blanc de Blancs and I am really curious to see how that is since the typical Roederer (which is one of my top fave houses) is very different from a Blanc de Blancs
