You will need to follow the entry procedures like everyone else and in this case, you will just hang around for a few hours in town and back to airport for the flight out instead of staying.
Thought I read you had to buy entrance to the national park. Also didn’t know if I didn’t have any hotel reservation or tour booked and only my confirmed return flight ( same day ) if that would deny me boarding.
