A question regarding connecting/adjoining rooms. Have two rooms booked next week for four nights each. One a comped MGM room, and the second an award Marriott room. Looking to have adjoining rooms. Do you have the Marriott confirmation number? If so, then re-contact MGM and ask their res agent to enter info in the notes like "Request connecting/adjoining room to Marriott reservation #8XXXXXX" or some such.
Possibly do this do with the Marriott res also, by contacting Marriott and asking them to put your request in the notes with the MGM confirmation number for the second room.
Probably wouldn't hurt to call on check-in morning as well and ask the MGM res agent to reconfirm requests in the notes.
