There are initial signs.
Canada has seen a slight dip in visitors from the U.S. as tensions between the two countries heighten due to tariffs and Donald Trump’s presidency.

Statistics Canada released its report on travel between Canada and other countries in February. It found that trips to Canada by Americans decreased by 5.3 per cent compared to the same time last year, to 1.1 million visitors.
Americans are generally oblivious to the impact tariffs are having in other countries and the expanded anti-American sentiment created by their President's trade policies. They should not be surprised if they do not receive a warm welcome in Canada.
