Oh yikes, thanks for the heads up. Figured I gotta do something with my points or lose it when I lose my HSBC US account/credit card

So... transfer point to BA Avios and then to Finnair Plus/Qatar Airways Privilege Club and just bite the bullet to drive to YUL and fly outta there? I guess ART is a possibility too... we've done that and there's free parking!
