Can’t comment on the recent breakfast. There used to be a choice between the Duchess and Mr Porter for breakfast.
You shouldn’t be charged for the rooftop pool on the Exchange side or the underground spa in the vault of the Bank building.
My advice is to stay on the Bank side, as it’s quieter and it’s nice to have easy access to the spa and the Duchess. Maybe if you want to party, the Exchange side is better?
Do you mean the Marriott? Don’t think there is a JW Marriott. The location of both is fairly decent; they are only about 20 mins apart on foot and both are close to the action. Personally I prefer the W, although I was treated well at the Marriott too.
