It is like everwhere. It stands or fails with the crew. A good crew make such a difference. You wouldn't recommend this restaurant when there would be a non working crew.
The food, cocktails, and ambiance were such that I would like to think it would have still been “a really good meal, shame about the staff” type wrap up.
It’s worth commenting that all the staff were excellent from the chirpy hostess at the door with her “hello my darling” to the barman that came to check if I would like the brandy glass pre-warmed.
