priority boarding is good if you travel in PEY/Y to secure overhead storage. If travelling in J it ain't gonna matter. I never checked in any luggage unless it's family leisure travel in which case we have time on our side so priority handling isn't an issue.

out of the useless so called 'priority' i would say
priority boarding >> priority check in >> priority baggage handling is the order of benefit i consider.
