I’ve stayed here many times between 2019 and 2022. I’m going back in March and will report how it goes. I can only eat eggs and cheese for breakfast due to dietary restrictions and always used to take the welcome gift for the restaurant. If they refuse it this time, I will invoke the guarantee. If they refuse that, I’ll have them sign a statement stating that they are not adhering to the terms and conditions. At least I’m sure they will have eggs (though not omelettes) in the lounge, and I can always file against them with the BBB and charge back the credit card for the penalty they need to pay.
I don’t need or expect any room upgrade. I won’t use late checkout. So I don’t care about those aspects on this trip. My company rate avoids the destination fee.
Let me know how that goes. I am checking in in a few days. I called ahead and they told me "since we have a club lounge, we are exempt from providing restaurant breakfast, and also the restaurant is owned by a third party" which is blatantly false.
