Did this change recently? Thought NQ is not (similar to how SQ owns Scoot LCC TR and TR is not under star alliance ).

Talking about flying under a NQ flight number. If you have a NH or UA flight number (but operated by air Japan, that's considered NH star alliance not NQ). Don't think you can redeem a true NQ flight using AC miles though?
