Does AA just not care that their website is basically non-functional?
Have a reservation (paid, not award) on hold. Ready to purchase. Click the purchase button:
- Chrome: "this page has taken flight"
- Fine, Chrome incognito mode (usually solves most issues): "this page has taken flight"
- Argh, lets try the app: "this page has taken flight"
- Resort to Edge (never used, no cookies/cache to worry about): "our system is having trouble"
Seems like selling a reservation should be a basic requirement of your point-of-sale website, no?
