So you need to switch to another room type and back again. Always a risk of the base room selling out.
Agree that this is a problem with app / website but why bother doing this? I just make a duplicate booking at the lower rate and cancel the one I no longer need. Also, it doesn’t make it any more acceptable but I find the same problem with other chains too.
