Anyways, since the cat is out of the bag, I'll list out a few potential changes based on multiple versions I've seen:
- Reduction of SPs for Economy Light.
- Increase in SP for "premium cabins" (whatever that means)
- Increase in SP for long intra-Asia flights. (CGK/DPS/CTS/
HND etc)
- Removal of SP resets when reaching a new tier. Potentially you can reach DM from scratch with only 1200
- Removal of the midtier 1400/1600/1800 benefits in exchange for a rollover to next year (This is head-scratching, there's an informal mechanism in place already)
By the way, when will the 200 AM credit? Not that I need it.
#4 is puzzling. They thought there are too many DM but want to make it easier to become one? It's quite a huge slash from 2100 now to 1200!
#5 or even give up mid-tier for DM+ is not appealing to me. BUDs although difficult to use at least is some tangible benefits, better than a higher tier which only provides something I don't need (RM/private clubs).
