Australia has a credit card that offers it. $4k spend first year, $60k annual spend

Otherwise, deposit $25k into united passplus flex, and get gold status. $25k can be used to buy flights on United for 1 year.

I just want to have a Star Alliance lounge access and access to Star Alliance airlines lounges

so, you have to pay $25k to get the gold status? is it a permanent?

Do you plan any flying other than the 4 required UA operated flights?

I just wanna get gold status because of the lounge access. that's it and maybe some free upgrades?

Guys, I did research the easiest way to get SA gold is through Asiana. Is it true? I can just fly Gimpo to Jeju for 50x times instead of spending crazy amount of $?
