I managed to get my luggage checked through ATH on a KUL-BKK-AMM-CAI-ATH-LHR itinerary involving a paid KUL-CAI on RJ (MH code-share to BKK) and a separate A3 CAI-LHR redemption, all in business. For some reason ATH was as far as the system would allow, but I did not mind as I had an overnight there. Poor MH check-in agent at KUL spent a fair amount of time on this one, I doubt she had ever even heard of A3 before

Sadly my bag never made it to ATH (or LHR) and was declared lost in the end. Felt bad having to ask A3 for reimbursement as I'm fairly sure CAI was to blame.
