Just go outside to the curb and look for the pillar that says "Metro Connector", it's not hard to find. The shuttle usually has a lot of airport/airline employees.

The M bus from LAX probably stops first at the new Aviation/Century station, which is now the new but temporary western terminus of the C Line. You can totally get off there too instead of the soon-to-be-renamed Aviation/LAX station. Just don’t board the southbound K train.
