We can't find any actual info on the LAX airport website, or from any searches. IE: "After clearing customs walk to... catching bus 888".
Just go outside to the curb and look for the pillar that says "Metro Connector", it's not hard to find. The shuttle usually has a lot of airport/airline employees.

Note that getting to Hollywood/Highland will require 2 transfers (C to A to B line) which can be a hassle if you have luggage. If you can swing the cost, Flyaway to Union and then B line will be much more comfortable.
