There have been reports that buying a NON-refundable (regular economy or business) domestic ticket and canceling after 24 hours will generate a new FFC with a new expiration date 1 year from the day you booked. In the past this had been a false expiration and the FFC was in fact expiring on the original date but recently that's not the case and new expiration is valid. However, the situation is always fluid and this can change at any time and we only know from members posting their experience here.
