The Four Points Nagoya Airport seems like a good hotel if you need to be near Centrair Airport. Here are my impressions and photos:

Pros:
  • Bed is comfortable - plush covers, plush mattress, plush pillows
  • Shower pressure is good
  • View is nice and didn’t hear any airplane noise
  • Welcome gift (check the fridge) had some nice cakes
  • Ate dinner at hotel restaurant - the fish and chips were actually quite good
  • Welcome gift breakfast is decent - good cheese omelet, not-bad potato wedges, machine coffee was decent

Neutral:
  • ”Upgraded” to Ocean View - nothing besides base rooms available online, though
  • Check-in was a bit odd as you had to sign up on a clipboard to wait - guess it makes sense to not have to wait in a line - but it was a bit confusing as it seemed liked the pace of calling people over did not match the availability of employees to check people in

Cons:
  • Told that everyone was going to have to check out at 1 PM and that no later checkout was possible
  • Sink pipes made shaking noises when the water was on
