I've got a KE flight later this week that will credit to AZ, so will see. I suspect it's only for AZ flights, I'll have to decide if it's worth pursuing or not. Later in January I have one chance to fly AZ but it's either frivolous if I just do a quick r/t to Italy and back, or if I decide to go to TUN, it's over $100 more than MS. I don't know how much value the status might have next year since Skyteam benefits are weak, no domestic lounge access, and AZ oddly doesn't even seem to credit KQ flights which is my most frequent Skyteam airline. KQ does recognize my AZ status though, so it's not due to some mystery disconnect.

Now if there was some indication that it'll become a *A program soon, that suddenly becomes a lot more appealing and would be worth the cost to maintain for another year.
