The new route does not include the Century/Sepulveda intersection or the tunnel under the runway. Torrance 8 is still covering that intersection at much longer intervals.
I really don't know what construction the Metro people are referring to. I see nothing obstructing the old route. The new route is worse for LAX passengers than the old route, which was almost as close as the LAX-it zone.
I may learn later this week whether 232 is still "On Detour" through the tunnel.
