- Next, I navigated back to my reservation on Copa’s website and entered my PNR and last name to bring up the reservation. Unlike previously, a message was displayed indicating that the reservation required review by a Copa and that I should reach out to their call center.
- After a couple of selections (I called the US office), I was routed to an agent who requested the reservation number and my name, as well as the origin and destinations on the ticket.
- She asked and put me on hold for a few minutes. When she returned, she confirmed the upgrade and waited while I verified by entering the PNR and my last name again in the browser.
- Bingo…

Very good customer experience, in my estimation. And I can be a stickler.
Had the same experience yesterday. Easy process overall. Had to wait about 10 minutes with Copa but that's fractions less than dealing with UA!!!!
