From here it costs much, much more to visit by sea (Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne are easy to get to but Ushuaia is not; and from what I have seen and been told cruises are more expensive than the flights). And as I mentioned it is a lot more uncomfortable with rough seas, small cabins/bunks, boredom, etc.

But of course to each their own.
