Yeah it is not a world class burger, neither is really. For really great burgers, curiously Tokyo has the best I have ever had due to seeking to imitate then elevate. Still California has a distinct edge on burgers (given our BBQ outside 361 days a year weather) over anything out of the East Coast. At least it is not that smash style of the Shake Shack. Really, really do not get the appeal of the sloppiness of that style. And I think in fact they are not even seeking that. All the grease makes it fall apart perhaps. My OCD run rampant I guess.
