You may or may not have noticed that we have been having a tough time around here these past few days to have our "différence" respected on FT and that in that context everyone seems to have rallied 'round the flag, even people who otherwise differ on just about every other issue there is.

Your comment, if made by anyone else, would be taken as divisive, insulting, hurtful and totally disrespectful. As it comes from you, I guess I'll just have a big shrug of the shoulders and throw in a couple of heart-felt for good measure.

Read some of the replies in reaction to your post and try to understand why what you said makes absolutely no sense in so many ways.
