Seems that those meals could be selected at online checkin at 30 hours until the 24 hour deadline? Although if other reports i've seen that online check is not available are to be believed, then what's the best course of action to select a special meal?
I would try to call VN CSL first as you purchased the flights from VN, and maybe AF in a 2nd step if it's not working.
