I don’t normally go to the French Market, but I went on Saturday to support Sarah Quintana, who was playing there on Saturday afternoon. I had no problem driving to and parking on Chartres in the Marigny, but was amazed by the crowd of Swifties at the French Market. Still, they were well behaved and seemed to enjoy Sarah’s performance. I do kinda wish they had sought out some of our local restaurants for lunch rather than eat French Market food, which may be local but not in the same sense. Still, not a terrible experience.

In terms of other music last weekend, it didn’t seem to me that any of the Swifties made it to the Tin Men / Morning 40 Federation show at Santos Bar on Saturday night (even though it was crowded), but there was a good crowd of what appeared to be tourists at The Maison to see Aurora Nealand earlier in the evening (or was that Sunday; I can’t remember!).
