T7 and T8 may be renovated but the concession lineup is mediocre as is the lack of seating space near gates. T8 in particularly is a miserable place to wait. The only thing I like at LAX are the UC and Polaris lounges which are far superior to SFO (the tradeoff is SFO terminal is light years better)

I fly AS and have never been impressed with T6. Honestly all the terminals at LAX are crap though T1 has better concessions since the renovation. Indeed T4 & T5 are the worst.
