To be fair, the staff at the front-desk is super-friendly and helpful (though sometimes not the most competent).

This hotel can still be a steal on points (it's a cat #1 with modern rooms in excellent shape). Just do not count on the Regency Club. The restaurants are fine, though (and as cheap as in most places in Cape Town). Also many decent restaurants nearby the hotel.
