Unfortunately I ended up having to change my USA-India flights which resulted in a shorter scheduled layover in BOM, plus due to arrival delay, by the time I cleared customs and re-checked bags I only had ~2.5 hours till domestic departure, so I just went directly upstairs, through security and hung out in the Adani Lounge till boarding. Thus, sorry I can't provide any info.
However, if you only have a total of 4 hours between scheduled arrival and departure, after immigration/customs I would doubt you'd have much time available at the hotel, other than perhaps for a shower and change of clothes.
