In my experience - probably 30 stays, both cash and free nights, over the past 5 years as a LTG - "inconsistent welcome amenities" are rare, or in my case, non-existent. While I usually get nice upgrades and have enjoyed other benes, I don't recall ever getting a welcome amenity. Since it's no longer a stated benefit in WoH, I don't expect one, and I suggest others staying at this property temper their expectations appropriately.
