Boarding was delayed a bit, but that's not unusual. The plane was a 777, which I hadn't flown with BA before. As the obligatory cabin photos show, it is probably the weakest version of the BA-F to date. Especially in the inner seats (where we were sitting) there is a lack of storage space and the "suite" seems rather narrow. It was the version without doors; the business class had doors. However, since the cabins in business class are very low, the doors there are completely meaningless. A pure marketing gimmick.

It was also the first time that I had seen the new safety video from BA. Really well done.

Let's take a look at the menu. At first, I was very satisfied with the text form.

First the appetizers and two mocktails. GF likes the amenity kits.

There is still free internet, which also worked well.

Let's start with dinner, then. We both had the lobster.

I have to say that was one of the best dishes I've ever had in the air. Cold lobster works well because it's not particularly vulnerable. Delicious.
We both wanted the halibut, but there was only one left. Gone are the days when everything was taken for all passengers. I am also against waste, but then I think it's good to allow a pre-selection. Then you don't take anything for nothing.
That was the fish, in any case.

I'd say it was OK. Unfortunately a bit dry, but that's often the case with fish.
GF was offered a salmon from the business, but she decided on the sweet potatoes.

It wasn't bad.
For dessert, I had the fig and almond sponge.

GF had the chocolate tarte

Both desserts were good.
I don't normally look at other plates, but I didn't want to withhold this chicken wellington from you. It looked good, if you eat that kind of thing.

The flight splashed along and the light snack was served.
The shrimp:

It tasted better than it looked.
The pasta tasted good.

The dessert was also OK.

We're getting closer...

A strange form to fill out.

As a glance at the airplane shows, the weather was not particularly great.

The arrivals area is quite modern.

And I buy expensive suitcases...
