Autumn in Amsterdam, a far cry from the balmy weather in Malta.
As i just had my 7th covid19 vaccination today, i'll be delaying my complete IC Malta review till next week.
To get an idea in what to expect with the scope of RA

But at least something to start with is me giving you an overview of the facilities.
These are located on the ground floor of the hotel.
Hotel's
main entrance
The hotel's main entrance .
The door team is happy to assist with handling your luggage for check in / checkout and to call for a taxi.
In the evening during the weekends extra security is on the premises.
Parking
The hotel offers covered parking at the Eden cinema next door.

Parking is underground
Gym & fitness
Hotel guests have the opportunity to use the gym next door operated by Cynergi
https://cynergi.com.mt
There is an indoor passage through the hotel connected to the gym.
But it might faster if your room is close to the front elevator bank, to just walk outside and turn left
Conventions & Meetings
Surprisingly one might have thought that the hotel focuses on the leisure and holiday market as it is located in St. Julians.
Yet, it was interesting to learn that almost half of their guests are in for business and conferences.
We heard several suited office folk of different EU-nations talking about their satisfaction and productivity scores.
But i didn't have the heart to tell my kids that the hotel hosts the annual:

- Mustn't distract them from their studies with this temptation lifestyle -
But it did give an insight how the hotel handles the welcome.

All these newfangled modern e-sporters,
i find myself still clinging to my old telex on wheels machine out of tragic attachment.....
The boutique: " Ce Soir sorti"
Next to the front elevator banks you'll find the ladies' boutique

All catering for a colorful night out about town.
The salon "Elite"
Next to the aft elevator bank, we find the salon.

It caters to both gents and ladies.
There seems to be always some activity and the possibilty to have an emergency touch ups.
With waiting room next to the lifts
It seemed to satisfy this lady with a fresh "coup soleil"
I rather prefer the body wave on me.

The outdoor seating opens up to the street
and one can enjoy the bustling activities and peope parading in St. julians
Transport
Especially in St. Julians and Valetta, we had no problem using the apps of Uber or Bolt to get around.
For those that wish to avoid uncertainty.
If you wish to pre-arrange transport viat hotel to / from the hotel & to / from MLA aiport Malta.
The set fare for pre-booking is €35 per way,
Payable by card or cash.
It is not possible for roomcharge as the transfer is operated by Maltese taxis.
It is possible to arrange a taxi à la minute to the airport, than the price drops to €25.
At the door team's stand, one can find this informative plaque about the set taxi prices from the hotel to different destinations across Malta.

So you get an idea what the price levels are.
It is indeed easier to take the bus but i'm a bit lazy when dealing with sunshine + suitcases.
And that concludes my tour of the hotel facilities on the ground floor.
I'm begining to sound like a youtuber with patreon trying to farm enagement......
I shall post next week :
- Club Intercontinental lounge
- Penthouse suite
- Paranga restaurant
- Skybeach
- Narcis lower pool
* BONUS: not hidden by subscriber's or paywall or subscription nonsense :

I do hope you find this infornation useful for planning a stay
or to just kill time before the paracetamol kicks in and i can drift away to sleep to process the vaccination
